Steve was born and educated in Scotland and prior to starting in business, Steve held extensive leadership and management positions in the education and training sector. As Chief Executive Officer at The Business Centre, Steve leads a cracking team of dedicated business advisers to create bespoke business education and business acceleration programs focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialisation.

Steve has successful business experience in strategy articulation and market execution and is passionate about driving new ideas, leading to business creation in regional Australia.

Steve has owned and operated a number of start-up businesses, his last being as Company Founder and Director of the ePar Group which delivered technology-based risk management platforms and systems in safety, environment and infrastructure to Golf Courses and Race Course across Australia, Asia and the USA. Steve divested from the ePar Group in 2014.

Steve’s combined experience as a leader in the private and public sector means he can not only oversee the operations of The Business Centre but also makes a vital contribution to some of our most diverse and innovative projects including Start House, our statewide Disability Sector Scale Up (NDIS) program and a range of specialist commercial services.
