With vast experience assisting small businesses over the last 20 years and running the family business, Jo has experience and knowledge across a broad range of industries. Her roles in the Federal Government Small Business Field Officer program and Regional Manager for AusIndustry have provided Jo with an understanding of the expectations and daily time constraints that small businesses face.

With many years of sharing her knowledge with small businesses through hands-on assistance, she understands the importance of planning and ensuring business systems.

Business planning and strategic planning is a key skill that she has shared with many small, prospective and existing small businesses whilst undertaking advisory and teaching positions. Through the TAFE system Jo has taught both Small Business and Business Management courses.

Jo has substantive expertise in understanding financial statements, project management, government & public relations, grant, tender & business case writing, community/stakeholder engagement. Recent years has seen Jo undertaking business consultation work and securing funding for NFP and business organisations in various industries.

In her career history she has worked in accounting, legal and service businesses, providing management and owners guidance to ensure the longevity, success and growth of the business.
