If your business and your sales are reliant on Facebook ads for sales or leads, it’s time to do something about it.

Australia has consistently had the highest cost-per-click price and that price will keep going up.

Facebooks Cost Per Click price, coincides with share prices

From the start of 2018 to the end of 2018, Facebooks’ share price fell. The Advertising cost went up in 2019 (by 45%), so did the share price. Advertising price dropped in 2020, and so did the share price.

Advertising is the only source of revenue for Facebook. To keep investors happy and keep returning dividends to those investors guess what has to happen – the prices have to increase.

So, what do you need to do to be less reliant on Facebook ads? Start increasing your organic digital footprint.

This means working on:

  • your social media accounts – posting regularly with quality, engaging content
  • Ensure you have Google My Business, and the details are up to date
  • Making use of your email database (or starting one if you haven’t already)
  • Building a community
  • Writing articles
  • Your YouTube channel
  • Podcast, and so on.

Don’t be reliant on one platform.
