Bob Purser is a Newcastle based journalist who began his Public Relations career in 1970 as Public Relations Manager for Hunter District Water Board (now Hunter Water Corporation).

In 1983, he established the Public Relations consultancy, Purser Promotions which later became Purser Corporate Communication Pty Ltd.

Bob Purser’s professional background has included major corporate communication policies and programs, management of corporate media relations, development and management of corporate positioning and development and implementation of community relations strategies

These responsibilities have involved working with private and public sector leaders who are experts in their own fields. It has also often meant working with projects of high commercial confidentiality.
